Finally Back Up And Running!

Anyone who follows me on Twitter will know that I've been having problems with accessing this site over the last couple of weeks. It's been a nightmare really. I've had intermittant access to this and all the sites I host for clients during that time and really it's been nobody's fault. Nobody I could blame in any case.
E-mails have passed back and forth between me and my web host, HostGator (based in the US) and me and my ISP, Eclipse, but neither could resolve the issue. It would appear that problems were being caused by a Level 3 router, somewere along the line, dropping packets!
Frustration has eventually got the better of me and I have moved to a UK based web host, UK Web Solutions Direct (Thanks Jamie for recommending them). So far so good. Everything seems fine, touch wood.
I feel a bit bad towards HostGator to be honest. They'd not actually done anything wrong, and the service they provide is really good but I couldn't see any other solution to the problem, a guys got to work at the end of the day.
Quotes
There is hopeful symbolism in the fact that flags do not wave in a vacuum. - Arthur C. Clarke
Tech Read
A great reference book for learning jQuery, broken into sensible chapters focused on jQuery's core functions.
Leisure Listen
Book 1 of A Time Odyssey, Arthur C. Clarke's final trilogy before passing away. Time's Eye is an interesting idea, but not his strongest novel unfortunately.
